In the centre of Gols, in the historical ambience of the WeinKulturHaus, the art of Erwin Moser - a selection of his comprehensive oeuvre - has found a permanent home since March 2014. In three showrooms, the well-known children's book author and illustrator Erwin Moser, who comes from Gols, presents 65 pictures, sketches, manuscripts and translations. Erwin Moser was born in Vienna in 1954 and grew up in Gols, a village on Lake Neusiedl. He trained as a typesetter and since 1980 he has been inventing and illustrating his enchanting stories. In over 30 years he has published numerous picture books and children's books, for which he has often received awards. His imaginatively narrated and drawn books are of particular warmth, they have had a significant impact on the literary landscape and have become part of the German-speaking literature for children and young people.
